Frank Wijnands

Frank started fishing at the age of 4, targeting small Roach in grandpa’s backyard. Half way through the 90’s he caught his first Carp and was hooked instantly. Fascinated by Carp fishing, he was always trying new methods to catch different varieties and sizes of Carp, including feeder fishing, surface fishing, fishing with a float or fishing from the bivvy. After competing in numerous international tournaments throughout the years, in 2017 he won the World Carp Masters at Lac du Der-Chantecoq. Now also working full time in the angling industry, Frank is one of the lucky ones who can combine his passion and profession in the same industry.
